  I used to drive by this place and say, next time we should try them out. Until one day a coworker picked up a "small boy" combo for me. (This is what they used to call it back in the day, I guess) And, man I was hooked!
  
  The combo came with a cheeseburger fries and drink. Their burgers are so tasty they're almost addictive. With a sauce that is reminiscent of childhood days.. So warning!!! You may get hooked.  The fries were perfect, not over or under cooked. And it came with a small drink. The portions were satisfying but not huge.
  
  I have to say I don't drive by this place anymore, without wanting a burger. We have also sampled their breakfast choices and the fried rice is not oily or missing anything. It's perfect. My very picky son,even likes it!!!
  
  There's plenty of free parking and it's so easy to find. The workers are smart, helpful,and kind. Even the cook pops his head out and smiles at customers when I go in.  And compared to some places they are very inexpensive.

  Visited again. They seem to have a name change. Diners By Upscale Hawaii. The ice cream shop is no longer around.
  
  I had chicken katsu. It tasted good.  As usual, the portion was large and the cost was reasonable. The French fries were average. Not bad, but average.

  do not ever eat here!!! you will wait over 20 minutes for your food minimum!
  food sucks and customer service??? none!!
  no refunds even if they screw it up!
  reminder!!!
  
  ordered fries crispy... came 1/2 cooked
  saimin.... no taste whatsoever literally hot water and noodles!
  ordered orange bang it was warm! seriously??
  
  than when we called back they tell us to bring it back so they can re-make it!!!
  
  they do not give refunds for anything even if they screw it up!!!!

  What happened to Diner's?! I've patronized this establishment for 30+ years and feel like it's gone downhill.
  
  Prime example--as this is not the first time--is this Beef Stew plate I was looking so forward to. The photo shows four measly,
  cheapest cut pieces of "beef" and three huge cuts of potatoes. What is this? I feel so ripped off.
  
  I will no longer patronize this establishment. This has happened time and again and I know my money will be better spent elsewhere.

  Cabbage is old and not presentable. Pork burned black.. failed. Cashier girl is nice about it and offered us solution.
